Best moment this week: Reaching the second trimester - woohoo!!!  And all you can eat paella!
Movement: I think I felt the baby for the first time this week - small flutters in my low abdomen.

Milestones: Baby is the size of a peach.

At 15 months Jolene

At 15 months Jolene... 


Cut her eleventh and twelfth teeth

Took her first ride in an airplane

 

Attended her first concert (Jonny Lang and Buddy Guy at the Portland Zoo)

Says hi to nearly everyone

Will help put things away into a container (her banana peel into the garbage, toys back into their bin, etc.)

Used her passport for the first time

Loves to read and has started "reading" books by herself

    Menu Plan Monday


    Okay, Tuesday...I tried to soak up every minute of the long weekend with my loves and ignored the meal planning until now.  :)

    Having my meal plan posted last week really seemed to keep me on track, so here I go again.  I'm linking up with I'm An Organizing Junkie.

    10 Weeks (Baby #2)


    How far along: 10 weeks
    Weight: 146 (-2 overall)
    Symptoms: I stopped breastfeeding Jolene recently and my breasts are finally starting to feel pregnancy sore, which I was hoping to skip altogether.  My appetite seems to be returning and I haven't felt nauseous for awhile - yay!
    Maternity clothes: No (although I did buy some new items during the Labor Day sales)
    Stretch marks: No
    Sleep: Normal
    Best moment this week: Hearing our little one's heartbeat during the appointment with my midwife.
    Movement: None
    Food cravings: Ice cream!  Specifically Grandma's Cake Batter by Tillamook.  :)
    Food aversions: None right now
